Late Night Fire in Plainfield Quickly Brought Under Control
Plainfield, IN — Emergency crews responded to a late night fire involving an RV/trailer early this morning. At approximately 12:52 a.m., the Avon Fire Department, Plainfield Fire Department, and Wayne Township Fire Department were dispatched to a reported working building fire at 10555 County Road 251 S, just southeast of Ronald Reagan Parkway and US 40. Upon arrival, firefighters found an RV/trailer fully involved in flames. Crews acted quickly to contain the fire and were able to bring the situation under control in about 15 minutes. No injuries or additional damages have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire has not yet been released. Authorities have not provided further details, and the incident remains under investigation.
