Pizza King Fire Quickly Brought Under Control by Avon Fire Department

 Avon, IN — Avon Fire Department responded to a fire at Pizza King on Tuesday morning after being dispatched at approximately 8:25 a.m.

Firefighters arrived and were able to quickly get water on the fire, bringing it under control within minutes.

As crews worked to extinguish the fire, they checked the neighboring businesses, Tony Nails and AAA, for possible fire extension. Firefighters determined the fire had not spread to either business.

At this time, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not been released.
