Serious Motorcycle Crash in Avon at Dan Jones Rd and County Road 200 N

 AVON, Ind. — A serious motorcycle crash occurred Wednesday night at the intersection of Dan Jones Road and County Road 200 North in Avon.

The Avon Fire Department and Avon Police Department responded to the intersection just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. County Road 200 North was shut down between Dan Jones Road and Charles Street while emergency crews were on scene.

Avon Police remained at the location for several hours conducting a crash reconstruction investigation before the roadway was reopened.
