Juvenile Hit and Run Incident Ends in Heavy Police Response in Bridgeport Commons Neighborhood

Indianapolis, IN — Indianapolis Metro Police boxed in a juvenile hit and run suspect in the Bridgeport Commons neighborhood after a 911 caller reported the suspect threatened the caller’s daughter during the incident.

The incident was reported around 8:16 p.m. The suspect also reportedly drove through several residential yards.

The juvenile later resisted with officers and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance with a police escort.

Avon Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene to check the integrity of a nearby residence after reports the vehicle may have struck the home.

No additional information has been released at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
