Juvenile Hit and Run Incident Ends in Heavy Police Response in Bridgeport Commons Neighborhood
Indianapolis, IN — Indianapolis Metro Police boxed in a juvenile hit and run suspect in the Bridgeport Commons neighborhood after 911 callers reported the suspect was attempting to strike a resident’s daughter with the vehicle.
The suspect also drove through several residential yards during the incident.
The juvenile later resisted with officers and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance with a police escort.
Avon Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene to evaluate the integrity of a nearby structure after reports the vehicle may have struck a building.
No additional information has been released at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
