Fully Engulfed House Fire Forces Closure of IN-39 Near Belleville

 Emergency crews from across Hendricks County are responding to a fully engulfed house fire along IN-39 just south of Belleville.

Firefighters arrived to find the residence heavily involved, prompting a large mutual aid response from multiple departments throughout Hendricks County. Additional units from Morgan County also responded to assist with firefighting operations due to the intensity of the blaze.

Because of the active emergency scene, IN-39 has been completely closed in the area while crews continue fire suppression efforts. At this time, there has been no official word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
