Three in Custody After Avon Police Chase Ends Near U.S. 36 Costco

Avon, IN — A police chase came to an end Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. near the Costco gas station along U.S. 36.

During the pursuit, the driver and two other occupants bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

The driver ran across U.S. 36 before being taken into custody by officers near Andy Mohr Toyota. The two additional occupants were apprehended shortly after at the Costco gas station.

Multiple viewers reported that at one point during the chase, the vehicle was traveling the wrong way on U.S. 36.

No injuries have been reported at this time, and further details have not yet been released.
