Box Truck Strikes CSX Rail Bridge on Bridgeport Rd

 Earlier today around 10:30 AM, a box truck collided with the CSX rail bridge on Bridgeport Rd, prompting a temporary closure in both directions. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene to assess the situation and ensure safety.

The incident caused brief traffic delays, but Bridgeport Rd has since reopened, and normal traffic flow has resumed. No injuries were reported.

CSX crews are inspecting the bridge for any structural damage to ensure it is safe for ongoing rail and road use. Authorities are also reviewing the circumstances of the accident.
