  Indianapolis, IN — A 15 year old was reportedly run off the road while riding a mini bike at Bridgeport and Stonewall Drive just after 8:30 p.m. Monday evening. EMS and Fire were dispatched to the scene following the incident. Once crews arrived, police were requested to respond emergent due to arguing at the scene. According to witnesses, the driver of the vehicle attempted to run the 15 year old off the road. The vehicle then made contact with the rider, knocking him off the mini bike. The 15 year old was reported to have only minor injuries. Police responded to the scene following the request from emergency crews. It is currently unknown if any arrests were made in connection with the incident.

  AVON, Ind. — A serious motorcycle crash occurred Wednesday night at the intersection of Dan Jones Road and County Road 200 North in Avon. The Avon Fire Department and Avon Police Department responded to the intersection just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday . County Road 200 North was shut down between Dan Jones Road and Charles Street while emergency crews were on scene. Avon Police remained at the location for several hours conducting a crash reconstruction investigation before the roadway was reopened. AVON, Ind. —  Emergency responders were called to the area of US-36 in front of the Meijer gas station earlier today after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. Avon Police and the Avon Fire Department responded to the scene and worked the incident along the busy corridor. Authorities have not released the condition of the pedestrian. Traffic in the area was affected while responders handled the situation. The incident comes just days after a separate pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run at US-36 & Bridgeport, renewing safety concerns along one of the town’s busiest roadways.

PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A man working at a Plainfield hotel says his legally parked vehicle was struck by a commercial waste truck early in the morning on February 5 , and that he would not have known what happened if not for surveillance video from the property. According to the vehicle owner, Ryan Gray , the incident occurred at approximately 5:53 a.m. while his vehicle was parked in the lot of the Wingate hotel in Plainfield , where he was working at the time. Gray says surveillance footage from the hotel reportedly shows a commercial waste truck operated by LRS striking the driver’s side of his parked vehicle with enough force to move it several inches. He says the driver left the area without notifying him or leaving any contact or insurance information. Gray states that he only became aware of the collision after reviewing the surveillance footage. “I wouldn’t have known anything happened if it wasn’t for the video,” Gray said.  BROWNSBURG — At 3:15 PM today, a Brownsburg school bus carrying 56 students was involved in a collision with a passenger car on 5450 N County Road 1000 East. Fire officials confirmed no students were injured. As a precaution, law enforcement temporarily shut down the roadway in both directions while all students were evaluated for possible injuries. At this time, no additional injuries have been reported, and authorities have not released further details regarding the driver of the passenger vehicle. Traffic restrictions were lifted once emergency crews cleared the scene.

 Earlier today around 10:30 AM , a box truck collided with the CSX rail bridge on Bridgeport Rd , prompting a temporary closure in both directions. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene to assess the situation and ensure safety. The incident caused brief traffic delays, but Bridgeport Rd has since reopened , and normal traffic flow has resumed. No injuries were reported. CSX crews are inspecting the bridge for any structural damage to ensure it is safe for ongoing rail and road use. Authorities are also reviewing the circumstances of the accident.
