 A serious multi-vehicle crash has been reported at the intersection of US-36 and Bridgeport Road. According to early reports, multiple people are trapped inside their vehicles following the collision.

Emergency crews are currently on scene working to free the occupants and provide medical assistance. Drivers are urged to avoid the area as the roadway is heavily congested and may be closed while rescue operations are underway.

The incident happened a little after 3:00am early Saturday morning.

  As the upcoming SNAP benefit reductions draw near, two Hendricks County pizzerias are stepping up to help local families in need. Pizza King in Plainfield , located at 2368 E Main Street , announced it will be offering free 14-inch cheese or one-topping pizzas , along with breadsticks and a family salad , to anyone who presents a valid SNAP card with ID. The offer will be available every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. In Brownsburg, Rockstar Pizza , located at 922 E Main Street , is also joining the effort. The restaurant will provide “Pizza Surprise Boxes,” filled with leftovers from its lunch buffet, to SNAP recipients.
