Employee Seriously Injured in Fight at Danville Business

Danville, IN — Danville Police were dispatched around 11 a.m. this morning to Edwards Equipment Co, 1375 E Main St, for a report of a fight in progress involving multiple individuals.

Upon arrival, officers located an employee suffering from serious head injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Gregory Bembenek was identified by police as the primary suspect in the incident. He was taken into custody and booked into the Hendricks County Jail on two felony charges. He is being held without bail.
