Two Women Face New Drug Charges After Brownsburg Traffic Stop

 Brownsburg, IN — Two women are facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop by Brownsburg Police led to the discovery of hundreds of pills, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

According to the Brownsburg Police Department, Officer Donna Davenport conducted a traffic stop and requested assistance from K9 Officer Megan Clonce and her K9 partner, Max. After Max alerted on the vehicle, officers reportedly located 18 different prescriptions that did not belong to the suspects, totaling 533 pills.

Officers also reportedly found two liquid narcotics, methamphetamine, crack/cocaine, marijuana, nine syringes, four marijuana pipes, three methamphetamine pipes, two crack pipes, two THC vape cartridges and five THC gummies.

The two women, identified in newly filed Hendricks County cases as Tammy L. Eversole and Kimberly Jo Collins, are facing charges including possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, a legend drug, a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Eversole Was Already on Home Detention

Eversole's case stands out because she was already serving a sentence through Marion County Community Corrections (MCCC) at the time of the new arrest.

In March, Eversole pleaded guilty to Level 5 felony burglary in Marion County. She was sentenced to four years, with two years executed through MCCC home detention and two years suspended to probation. Her court records list both community corrections and home detention as active conditions of her sentence.

Now, Eversole is facing a new drug case in Hendricks County while she was supposed to be serving that Marion County home detention sentence.

On September 23, Marion County Community Corrections filed a notice of MCCC violation in her existing case.

Collins Also Had a Pending Drug Case

Collins was already facing a separate Hendricks County drug case filed in April. That case involved possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was still pending when the new charges were filed.

On September 23, the court record shows a petition to revoke Collins' bond, a notice of pretrial release violation and an order for a no-bond warrant.

Both women are now facing new charges stemming from the Brownsburg traffic stop. The new cases were filed in Hendricks County on September 23 and remain pending.
