The bull was first reported loose around 8:40 p.m. Thursday in the area of US 136, prompting a response from Pittsboro Police. The owners attempted to locate and wrangle the animal Thursday night but were unable to find him. A family member of the owners said the bull is an 8-month-old black male calf with no tags. He is described as very skittish and scared of people and is unlikely to approach anyone he does not know. The search for the bull continued into Friday. After being loose overnight, he may have traveled beyond the area where he was initially spotted, although the family believes he could remain somewhere in the general area.   Brownsburg, IN — Two viewer-submitted videos show the aftermath of a police chase that began in Brownsburg and ended in Pittsboro after the suspect vehicle was disabled with spike strips. Around 9:00pm Wednesday evening, a female suspect fled from Brownsburg officers for an unknown reason in a Chevy Malibu. The suspect traveled southbound on Green Street before heading westbound on US-136. Speeds during the pursuit remained relatively low, around 45 mph. Officers in Pittsboro positioned ahead of the suspect successfully deployed spike strips, which the vehicle struck. The suspect then continued northbound on North County Road 475 East before crashing near the entrance of the Jefferson Park neighborhood. The suspect was taken into custody at gunpoint. Authorities have not released additional details at this time, including the reason for the initial pursuit or whether any injuries were reported.

  Pittsboro, Ind. — The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of shots fired Saturday evening near Jeff Gordon Boulevard just north of East County Road 900 North. The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. Deputies responded to the area and began an investigation. According to Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jim Yetter , deputies are currently on the scene looking into the report. “We are on the scene of a shots fired investigation. A fire involving multiple large tow trucks broke out Tuesday evening at Ploughe Wrecker Service along US 136 in Pittsboro . The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m. , prompting a response from Brownsburg Fire and Pittsboro Fire . Upon arrival, crews found two large tow trucks actively burning on the property. Firefighters worked for nearly an hour to bring the blaze under control. Crews remained on scene along US 136 while extinguishing hot spots and securing the area.
