Multiple Tow Trucks Burn in Fire at Ploughe Wrecker Service in Pittsboro

A fire involving multiple large tow trucks broke out Tuesday evening at Ploughe Wrecker Service along US 136 in Pittsboro.
The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m., prompting a response from Brownsburg Fire and Pittsboro Fire. Upon arrival, crews found two large tow trucks actively burning on the property.
Firefighters worked for nearly an hour to bring the blaze under control. Crews remained on scene along US 136 while extinguishing hot spots and securing the area.
No injuries have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
