Hendricks County Deputies Investigating Shots Fired Report in Pittsboro

 PITTSBORO, Ind. — The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of shots fired Saturday evening near Jeff Gordon Boulevard just north of East County Road 900 North.

The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. Deputies responded to the area and began an investigation.

According to Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jim Yetter, deputies are currently on the scene looking into the report.

“We are on the scene of a shots fired investigation. No one was shot or injured,” Yetter said.

Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the reported gunfire. The investigation remains ongoing.
