  BROWNSBURG, IN — More than two years after a deadly shooting at the Eagle Crossing neighborhood clubhouse, Darrius Tolbert has been sentenced to 55 years in the Indiana Department of Correction for the murder of 20-year-old Carlos Neri-Guzman. The sentence was handed down Monday in Hendricks County following Tolbert's conviction earlier this month. A jury found him guilty of murder after a two-day trial stemming from the March 2024 shooting at the clubhouse parking lot near 56th Street and Eagle Crossing Boulevard. During a plea hearing on Monday in Hendricks County Superior Court, Wireman pleaded guilty to methamphetamine dealing and reckless homicide as part of a plea agreement.
