Homeowner Seeks Public's Help Identifying Woman After Reported Theft in Danville

 Danville, IN — A Danville resident is asking for the public's help identifying a woman who allegedly stole a decorative solar powered hot air balloon from their property yesterday morning at the Crosswinds at Tradition Lane Apartments.

According to the homeowner, the incident happened around 2:32 a.m. Wednesday and has been reported to the Danville Police Department. The homeowner says they plan to pursue criminal charges if the woman is identified.

Surveillance images provided by the homeowner appear to show a woman walking onto the property before allegedly taking the decorative balloon and leaving the area.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or has information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Danville Police Department. Information can also be shared with the homeowner so it can be forwarded to investigators.

At this time, no arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
