Working House Fire Reported on Poplar Road in Brownsburg

 A working house fire broke out Friday afternoon on Poplar Road in Brownsburg, just east of State Road 267.

The fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m., with firefighters arriving to find active fire conditions at the residence. Crews worked quickly to control the flames and prevent further spread throughout the home.

The fire appeared to have originated in the attic above the garage, which created challenges for firefighters as they worked to access and extinguish the fire. Emergency crews remained on scene for an extended period while suppression efforts continued and hot spots were addressed.
