Plainfield Man Arrested on Multiple Child Exploitation Felonies
A 55-year-old Plainfield man, Jason Alan Keep, was booked into the Hendricks County Jail today following an investigation into multiple child exploitation offenses. Keep is facing six felony charges, including three Level 4 felonies with aggravating factors and three Level 5 felonies. Authorities say the investigation began after a cyber tip was reported to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, leading investigators to examine Keep’s online activity involving minors.
According to officials, Keep allegedly communicated with underage individuals through social media apps and paid juveniles for explicit photos and videos, including at least one teen believed to be 15. Some of the recovered messages suggest Keep attempted to solicit sexual video chats, and one minor was reportedly referred to as a “sugar baby.” Court documents also indicate that Keep admitted to sexual contact with a minor.
The case remains active as Hendricks County investigators continue to review evidence and follow leads. Authorities urge parents and guardians to monitor online activity and report any suspicious behavior to law enforcement.
