Urban Search in Avon Concludes Quickly With Safe Outcome

 An urban search effort in Avon wrapped up quickly Tuesday evening after first responders located a missing male safely.

According to officials, Avon Fire and Avon Police launched the search around 7:15 PM in the area of US-36 and Gable Drive after receiving a report of a missing male subject, whose age was not immediately available.

Emergency crews coordinated a focused search of the surrounding area, and within roughly 15 minutes, responders were able to locate the individual safely at approximately 7:30 PM.

The quick resolution highlights the strong teamwork between Avon’s fire and police departments, as well as their rapid response to incidents involving community safety.
