IMPD Says Domestic Dispute Led to Shooting Near Girlschool Rd & US-40

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Police say what was first believed to be a break-in has now been confirmed as a domestic-related shooting near the corner of Girlschool Rd and US-40 on Bailey Dr.

IMPD Capt. John Arvin spoke at the scene and said a domestic issue inside the home led to the gunfire, not a break-in as initially reported by witnesses.

Multiple people were shot and transported for medical care. Their conditions have not yet been released. Police remain on the scene as the investigation continues.
