 Indianapolis, IN — A semi truck blocked the south exit of Avon Creek Estates on CR 100 S, just east of Raceway Road. The truck also brought down utility lines in the area. Crews were on scene working to restore service and clear the roadway. 

Avon, IN – A crash at the intersection of County Road 100 South and 1050 East shut down traffic in both directions on Halloween night, causing delays for drivers in the area. Avon Police and Fire crews responded to the scene, directing traffic and working to clear the roadway. Emergency vehicles blocked the intersection while responders managed the incident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area until the road was reopened later in the evening. At the time of the closure, no additional details were immediately available regarding the vehicles involved or possible injuries.

Danville  —  US-36 westbound in Danville has been shut down after a tractor leaked hydraulic fluid along the roadway, leaving an estimated 1,000-foot trail of oil across the highway. Cleanup crews are currently on scene working to remove the oil and make the area safe for drivers. Officials have not said how long the closure will last, but drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible. The incident occurred earlier today, and westbound traffic on US-36 is being diverted while crews work to clear the scene.

AVON  —  A major road improvement project has officially started along Avon Avenue as part of the CCMG paving program, bringing with it lane restrictions and traffic delays expected to last through early November.      Crews began work on Monday, October 6th , and the project will be completed in three phases to keep traffic moving while construction takes place. Despite efforts to minimize disruption, drivers in the area should expect congestion and slower travel times, especially during morning and evening rush hours. Phase Breakdown Phase 1 (October 6–23, 2025): Southbound traffic from Rockville Road is limited to the inside lane as crews focus on widening the west side of Avon Avenue. This phase includes excavation, paving, and new sidewalk installation. A traffic shift is planned around October 23rd . AVON, Ind. — Emergency crews are on the scene of a serious multi-vehicle crash involving four to five cars on US-36 (Rockville Road) near Shelton Drive , directly across from the Avon Walmart. According to early reports, multiple ambulances were dispatched to assist those injured in the collision. The exact number of people transported has not yet been confirmed. Police have closed one lane in both directions while emergency responders work to clear the roadway and tend to the victims. Drivers in the area should expect delays and are urged to avoid the area if possible.
