Driver Extricated After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree in Plainfield
PLAINFIELD, IN — A driver was extricated from a vehicle and transported to the hospital after a single vehicle crash Tuesday evening at the intersection of Reeves Road and Perry Road in Plainfield.
The crash was reported at approximately 8:22 p.m. Plainfield Police and Plainfield Fire Territory crews responded to the scene and found the driver trapped inside the vehicle.
Due to the severity of the incident, additional firefighters from the Decatur Township Fire Department were dispatched to assist with the extrication. After the driver was safely removed from the vehicle, they were transported to the hospital.
The extent of the driver's injuries has not been released.
