Death Investigation Underway at Clover Motel in Plainfield

 Plainfield, IN — Plainfield Police have confirmed that a death investigation is underway at the Clover Motel after emergency crews were called to the property Friday afternoon.

Plainfield Fire Department was dispatched to the motel at approximately 4:12 p.m. for a report of an unconscious person inside a vehicle in the parking lot. After firefighters arrived, they confirmed the person was deceased.

Plainfield Police later confirmed that law enforcement personnel were on scene conducting a death investigation.

The Hendricks County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death. No information regarding the identity of the deceased person or the circumstances surrounding the death has been released at this time.

Police said the investigation remains in its preliminary stages and emphasized that there is currently no public safety concern related to the investigation.
