Earlier this afternoon, around 1:30 PM, viewer-submitted video captured a car fire in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings in Plainfield. The video shows smoke and flames coming from a parked vehicle as bystanders kept a safe distance.

Plainfield Fire Territory responded promptly to the scene and was able to extinguish the fire shortly after arrival. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has not yet been released.

This incident serves as a reminder to stay aware of your surroundings and report emergencies quickly. Thanks to the fast action of local firefighters, the situation was brought under control.
