Multiple Accidents Reported on State Route 39 Near Lizton Amid Whiteout Conditions

 Lizton, IN — Several accidents were reported earlier today along State Route 39 between Lizton and New Brunswick as winter weather created dangerous driving conditions.

Snow combined with strong winds led to near whiteout conditions in the area, with visibility dropping to almost zero at times. The rapidly changing conditions contributed to multiple crashes along the stretch of highway.

Authorities confirmed at least two separate incidents involving semi trucks. One crash involved a head-on collision between a semi and a passenger vehicle. In another instance, a semi was reported jackknifed along the roadway.
