Traffic Alert in Plainfield: Crash Closes Lanes at US-40 & Dan Jones Rd

 Traffic has returned to normal at US-40 (Main Street) and Dan Jones Road after a multiple-vehicle accident temporarily shut down parts of the intersection earlier today.

According to reports, southbound Dan Jones Road was closed, and one lane of westbound US-40 was blocked while emergency crews worked the scene. The crash caused significant delays in the area during the afternoon, but all lanes have since reopened.

Plainfield police and fire departments responded quickly to assist those involved and clear the roadway. No serious injuries were reported.

Drivers in the area are now moving freely, but officials remind motorists to stay alert and drive carefully, especially during busy travel times.
