Annie the Horse Safely Recovered After Days on the Run

 Coatesville, IN — Annie the horse is safely home after spending several days on the run, bringing a happy ending to a search that drew widespread community support.

According to those involved in the recovery, Annie was located early Friday morning after appearing on a trail camera around 4:30 a.m.

Throughout the search, public sightings helped those coordinating the effort track Annie's movements and safely plan her recovery.

Those involved in the recovery credited American Outlaw Rodeo Company with providing one of the biggest turning points in the search. Riders from the group used their horses and horsemanship to safely corral and contain Annie, helping bring the days-long search to a successful end.

The successful recovery was made possible through the efforts of Annie's owner, volunteers, and the many community members who reported sightings, shared updates on social media, and helped track Annie's movements throughout the search.
