Brownsburg Daycare Ex-Owner Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

Brownsburg, IN — A former Brownsburg daycare owner has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in a case tied to a broader child abuse investigation.

Nancy Minton, former owner of Main Street University for Kids in Brownsburg, was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to neglect of a dependent and failure to report. A judge imposed a three-year sentence, with two years to be served in prison and one year on probation.

The charges stem from an investigation into incidents at the daycare that began last April. Authorities say the case is connected to a former employee, Gabriel Garner, who is facing 48 felony charges involving crimes against children.

Garner has been held in the Hendricks County Jail since May 6, 2025, on a $600,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to go to trial on May 4.
